As a family owned and operated local company, we do all we can to stay involved with our family and our community in a variety of ways. One of the most valuable lessons we teach our children is to give their time and help to those who are in need. Not only will it help to build character and give a better appreciation of life, but we believe there is no greater feeling than the one of making a difference in someone’s life.

We are corporate partner sponsors of Sarah’s House, a non-profit charity that provides a variety of resources to children and families who have lost their homes and need help rebuilding their lives and getting back on their feet.

Sarah’s House offers so much more than just shelter and three meals a day. Sarah’s offers childcare and transportation along with help finding a job and many other important needs so that these families can stay together and rebuild their lives. The success stories are heart warming and so many would not be successful without Sarah’s. Currently, more then half of the residents of Sarah’s House are children. Steve and myself are advocates for children and feel strongly that every child deserves a chance to be happy and know that people care about them.

On January 24th, 2009, we held our 1st annual awareness benefit for Sarah’s together with Cafe Mezzanotte. The event was a great success and we look forward to next year’s benefit.
